Cherry is a temperate and subtropical tree native to the Himalayas in China. It has been cultivated for more than 2,000 years up to now and spread in the temperate zone of Asian in Northern Hemisphere, Europe and North America. There are about 40 species of cherry species in the wild, of which 33 species are native to China. Here is the largest area of cherry blossom forest in the scenic area.
