Zigong salt industry history museum, located in the center of Zigong, Sichuan, was built in 1959. It is one of the earliest professional museums in the history of Chinese museums, and is still the only Salt History Museum in China. In May 18, 2017, the last third batch of National Museum award. The museum is a museum of the history of science and technology in China. It is located on the Bank of the Fuxi River under the Longfeng Mountain in the Middle District of Zigong City, Sichuan. It was built in 1959. The site was built in the first year of Emperor Qianlong (1736) of the West Qinling hall. This is a city built by Shaanxi Ji from fellow hall melting during the two dynasties palace and folk styles. The well preserved inscriptions, wood carvings, stone carvings and clay sculptures are the physical specimens of the social life, economic condition and religious art of the Qing Dynasty before the Opium War.
